Allie's Specialties is a coffee shop and bakery on Main Street in Hellertown. The espresso machine runs from the moment we open, and everything in the pastry case was baked in the same building that morning. Most people who come in once come back the same week, usually for the same drink
Espresso Drinks
We pull espresso for americanos, cortados, flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos and macchiatos. If you take your coffee short and strong, ask for the cortado. If you want something longer to carry down Main Street, the latte or the americano is the one. Every drink is made to order at the counter, hot or iced.
Matcha, Chai and Loose Leaf Tea
Not everyone drinks coffee, so the tea side is just as real. We make chai lattes, matcha lattes, golden lattes and London fogs, and we brew loose leaf Assam black, Earl Grey, decaf chai and hibiscus. The loose leaf teas are brewed by the cup rather than poured from a pot.
Seasonal Drinks
There is always something on the board that is not on the regular menu. Recent ones have included the red velvet latte, the cookie butter latte, the cardamom pistachio dream, the toasted mallow mocha, the iced black sesame latte and the Thai cloud espresso and matcha, hot or iced. These change through the year, so ask what is on today.
Something to Go With It
The coffee counter and the bakery counter are the same counter. Croissants, cruffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies and brioche come out fresh each morning, and there is usually still something warm when the doors open. A croissant and a flat white is the order we make more than any other.
